AI Engineer - 100% Remote

Responsibilities

• check_circle Design and build LLM-powered features and AI agent pipelines — from prompt to production
• check_circle Extend and optimize our RAG / knowledge base system: chunking strategies, embedding models, vector search, hybrid retrieval (BM25 + semantic), and reranking
• check_circle Implement agentic workflows with tool use, multi-step reasoning and structured outputs
• check_circle Build document- and email-processing pipelines that leverage LLMs for classification, extraction and summarization
• check_circle Integrate and manage LLM providers (OpenAI, Anthropic, etc.) and AI SDKs across the stack
• check_circle Design evaluation frameworks and feedback loops to measure and continuously improve AI output quality
• check_circle Build and optimize agents for our growing template library
• check_circle Operate in an AI-first development setup powered by Claude/Cursor
• check_circle Backend: TypeScript
• check_circle Frontend: Next.js, React, Tailwind, shadcn/ui
• check_circle AI: OpenAI & Anthropic APIs, Vercel AI SDK, vector search, semantic reranking
• check_circle Database: We don't want to disclose this publicly at the moment
• check_circle Hands-on experience building production AI systems with LLMs — not just prototypes, but systems that run reliably at scale
• check_circle Deep familiarity with RAG architectures: chunking, embedding models, vector search, hybrid retrieval and reranking
• check_circle Experience with AI SDKs and frameworks (Vercel AI SDK, LangChain, LlamaIndex, or similar)
• check_circle Proficiency in TypeScript
• check_circle Comfort with agentic systems: tool use, structured outputs and evaluation
• check_circle You actively think about cost, latency and quality trade-offs and know how to optimize across all three
