Deputy Manager - Data Analyst (Finance)

Role overview

Responsibilities

• check_circle Dashboards & Reporting: Create and maintain Power BI/Tableau dashboards to track financial metrics like revenue, margins, transaction volumes, and operating costs.
• check_circle Data Analysis: Query large databases using SQL to understand transaction trends, cost structures, and profitability.
• check_circle Reconciliation & Auditing: Reconcile transaction data across banks, payment gateways, and accounting records to ensure accuracy.
• check_circle FP&A Support: Help Finance and FP&A teams with monthly closings, budgeting, variance analysis, and revenue forecasting.
• check_circle Process Automation: Automate routine financial reports using SQL and Python to reduce manual Excel work.

Basic qualifications

• Experience: 2–4 years of experience as a Data Analyst within a Finance, Payments, or FinTech environment.
• Technical Skills: Strong proficiency in SQL and Excel. Visualisation dashboards or business intelligence tools (Tableau, Power BI etc)
• Finance Knowledge: Solid understanding of financial basics, profit & loss (P&L), payments/settlements, and unit economics.
• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Data Analytics, Engineering, Economics, or a related field.
