Role overview
We are looking for an AI Engineer to join our Innovation & Technology team and play a key role in designing and deploying AI solutions across the business.
The role combines hands-on AI engineering with close collaboration with internal teams, with the aim of embedding practical, high-impact AI capabilities into how KAFKAS works.

Responsibilities
- check_circle Design, develop and deploy AI agents and assistants using Microsoft Azure AI Foundry
- check_circle Connect AI solutions with the enterprise data warehouse and third-party systems through APIs and data pipelines
- check_circle Evaluate and implement LLM-based tools with compliance requirements in mind, including GDPR and the EU AI Act
- check_circle Build proof-of-concepts and prototypes for new AI use cases identified through the AI Ambassadors program
- check_circle Collaborate closely with Power Platform developers, Enterprise Architecture and business teams to ensure end-to-end, production-ready solutions
- check_circle Monitor model performance, run evaluations and continuously optimize AI solutions
- check_circle Contribute to clear technical documentation and knowledge sharing with non-technical audiences
Basic qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Computer Engineering or another related technical field
- At least 1 year of experience in AI/ML engineering or software engineering with a focus on AI applications
- Hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure AI Foundry or an equivalent Azure AI/ML ecosystem
- Experience with LLM APIs, such as OpenAI, Anthropic or Azure OpenAI, and prompt engineering
- Good knowledge of Python and REST APIs
- Understanding of data pipelines and integration with third-party systems
- Very good command of English, both written and spoken
