About the Role**
We are looking for a passionate and skilled
Data Scientist
to join our dynamic analytics and AI team in Palo Alto, CA. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in
Machine Learning, Python, PySpark
, and exposure to
Generative AI
technologies. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and deploy data-driven solutions that power intelligent business decisions.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, build, and optimize machine learning and predictive models to solve business challenges.
- Work with large-scale datasets using PySpark , optimizing data pipelines for performance and scalability.
- Develop and implement Generative AI use cases (e.g., LLMs, embeddings, prompt engineering).
- Collaborate with data engineers, analysts, and product teams to identify data opportunities.
- Communicate insights clearly through visualizations and presentations to stakeholders.
- Stay updated on latest trends in AI/ML and apply innovative approaches to improve model performance.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Statistics, or a related field.
- Strong programming skills in Python (NumPy, Pandas, Scikit-learn, TensorFlow, or PyTorch).
- Proven experience with PySpark for big data processing.
- Hands-on experience in Machine Learning model development and deployment.
- Exposure to Generative AI (LLMs, fine-tuning, prompt design, or related frameworks).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
Nice to Have
- Experience with cloud platforms ( AWS, GCP, or Azure ).
- Familiarity with MLOps frameworks and model deployment pipelines.
- Experience in data visualization tools (Power BI, Tableau, or similar).
