Auria is looking to hire an AI Data Scientist. This role is ONSITE at Camp Pendleton, CA.

This is currently a contingent position.

The Marine Corps Tactical Systems Support Activity (MCTSSA) provides 24/7 global technical support for Command, Control, Communications, Computers, Cyber, and Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance (C5ISR) systems; and conducts engineering, testing and evaluation, and supports experimentation on C5I systems and amphibious platforms to inform acquisition decisions and make the Fleet Marine Force (FMF) more capable. This contract will provide Data Management and Cybersecurity services to support the command’s mission of Testing, Engineering, Integration, and Sustainment of the Marine Corps C5ISR Programs of Record.

WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT TO DO:

  • Conduct data integration.
  • Investigate flexible analytics solutions visualization, model building, operational decision-making, and decision capture capabilities.
  • Supports the development of secure, rapid building, training, evaluation, debugging, and deployment of AI models across real world and theoretical scenarios.
  • Identify portable solutions that can support distributed, vehicle mounted, and on-premises use cases.

WHAT THE TEAM REQUIRES:

  • Ability to apply Data Scientist expertise through technology processes, methodologies, standards, or frameworks.
  • Expertise in applying Data Scientist tools and developing methodologies in an integrated test and/or garrison environment.
  • Experience using statistical computer languages (R, Python, SLQ, etc.) to manipulate data and draw insights from large data sets.
  • Experience with programming languages such as C, C++, Java, JavaScript, etc.
  • Experience working with and creating data architectures.
  • Experience using AI/ML learning techniques (large language models, clustering, decision tree learning, artificial neural networks, etc.).
  • Experience using advanced statistical techniques and concepts (regression, properties of distributions, statistical tests, and proper usage, etc.).
  • Active Security Clearance - Secret

WHAT THE TEAM PREFERS:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Engineering, or related field.
  • Knowledge and experience in statistical and data mining techniques.
  • Three or more years of experience with distributed data and computing tools.
  • Three or more years of experience creating and using advanced machine learning algorithms and statistics: regression, simulation, scenario analysis, modeling, clustering, decision trees, neural networks, etc.
  • Experience visualizing and presenting data for stakeholders.

PAY TRANSPARENCY: The salary offered will be based on the selected candidate’s qualifications - skills, education & experience - and the position level. $145,000 - $165,000.
