About the Role:
As a Senior DevOps Engineer, you will play a key role in building and operating reliable, scalable, and efficient infrastructure and deployment systems. You will work on improving platform capabilities, enhancing observability, and driving automation across the DevOps charter. This role requires strong hands-on expertise in cloud infrastructure, Kubernetes, deployment strategies, and observability, along with the ability to take ownership of production systems and continuously improve them using automation and AI-assisted workflows.

What You Will Do:
● Design and maintain high-performance, resilient DevOps platforms and infrastructure components
● Execute advanced deployment strategies including canary and progressive delivery (Argo Rollouts, Spinnaker, etc.)
● Take ownership of AWS infrastructure components, ensuring reliability, scalability, and security
● Build and enhance observability systems (metrics, logging, tracing) to improve system visibility and debugging
● Engineer and automate workflows using modern tooling and emerging AI/agentic solutions
● Strengthen system reliability through effective monitoring, alerting, and incident response practices
● Collaborate with engineering and security teams to implement DevOps best practices and standards
● Contribute to improving deployment efficiency, system performance, and cloud cost optimization initiatives
● Support and mentor team members through knowledge sharing and technical guidance

AI & Automation Mindset:
● Comfortable leveraging AI tools to improve productivity and reduce manual effort
● Ability to identify opportunities for automation and intelligent workflows
● Interest in applying AI to analysis, debugging, and operational efficiency

Required Skills:
● 3–6 years of experience (at least 3 years in DevOps)
● Strong hands-on experience with Kubernetes and other containerized environments
● Experience with Terraform (or equivalent IaC tools)
● Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, etc.)
● Experience with GitOps workflows (ArgoCD preferred)
● Solid understanding of deployment strategies (canary, blue-green, rolling)
● Strong experience with observability tools (Prometheus, Grafana, Loki, or equivalent)
● Experience managing production-grade systems (Kafka, Redis, etc.)
● Strong debugging and problem-solving skills in distributed systems
● Proficiency in scripting (Python preferred)
● Proven ability to independently own and drive improvements in at least one critical DevOps domain (CI/CD, observability, cost optimization, or infrastructure reliability).
